Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Service Technician to perform hands-on maintenance, make-ready tasks for leasing, and preventive services across property grounds and buildings.

You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, coordinate with vendors, and maintain accurate records while following safety standards and OSHA guidance. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspections.
• Track inventory and obtain materials from the maintenance department, returning unused items and notifying reordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately to enable proper documentation and tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; clean, pressure-wash, and paint as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing, and using tools properly to minimize waste.
• Adhere to safety policies; attend safety meetings and training; report incidents promptly.
• Periodically inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 & II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
