Columbus Alzheimer's Care Center is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to perform routine facility maintenance and repairs, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.

You will work on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems, keep work areas tidy, and maintain records while following safety protocols. The role may require evenings or weekends and collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain the appearance of maintenance work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and report any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
• Assist other departments as needed, such as plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Participate in in-service training programs and attend regular meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
