Columbus Alzheimer's Care Center is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our facilities and equipment, ensuring a clean, safe environment for residents.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks, keep records, and support other departments while adhering to safety protocols. A high school diploma and ability to work evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Maintain the appearance of maintenance work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and report any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed
• Assist other departments as needed, such as plumbing and electrical repairs
• Participate in in-service training programs and attend regular meetings
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
