Avenue5 Residential in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance, while upholding the highest standards of resident service and curb appeal.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in property maintenance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as needed.
• Perform carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, trim work, door/lock repair.
• Proactively perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion.
• Inspect property grounds and amenities for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies and adverse weather events.
• Communicate maintenance issues to leadership promptly.
• Promote safety, risk management and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance as required.
