Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors seeks Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities, conduct home/building repairs, and ensure cleanliness and upkeep of grounds, facilities, streets, and equipment.

You will provide excellent customer service to residents, follow safety guidelines, operate hand tools and power equipment, and support contractors while maintaining curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure trash/debris is picked up daily from common areas.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on homes and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation, water systems, and meters; perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain grounds: lawns, landscaping, and snow removal where applicable.
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor and complete checklists.
• Assist with supervision of service contractors and safety procedures.
• Keep community presentable and adhere to curb appeal standards.
