Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Belleville, MI to keep our residential community safe, clean, and well maintained. You will handle preventative maintenance, service requests, inspections, and coordinate with residents and vendors to keep assets in good order.

Ideal candidates bring experience in home refurbishment or make-ready work, valid MI driver's license, and ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and climbing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• Experience in home refurbishment or make-ready is preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operation experience are pluses.
• OSHA trainings or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and safe.
• Respond to service requests and inspections in a timely manner.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and report findings to management.
• Assist in new home delivery and setup; report warranty work.
• Deliver notices to residents as requested by management.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles per safety standards.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and wear PPE as required.
