Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Douglasville, GA to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and well-stocked with supplies. You will interact with residents and ensure timely completion of service requests and inspections, while supporting assets upkeep and safety compliance.

Teamwork and safety are emphasized; a valid driver’s license and HVAC/electrical/plumbing exposure are valued assets for this role at YES Communities.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots.
• Respond to service requests and inspections in a timely manner.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and coordinate repairs with management.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in new home delivery/setup and report warranty issues to management.
• Uphold OSHA standards and ensure PPE use.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and teammates.
• Participate in mandatory team and safety meetings.
