Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community grounds safe, organized, and well stocked. You will interact with residents, handle service requests and inspections, and support the upkeep of assets and grounds. Teamwork and safety are emphasized in this role.

The position requires an in-state driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred experience in home refurbishments, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operations. OSHA trainings are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a plus.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and tablets used on-site.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete work in a timely manner without sacrificing safety or quality.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Aid in new home delivery and setup and report warranty/follow-up work.
