Job summary

YES Communities in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep community grounds safe, organized, and stocked. You will handle service requests and inspections, assist with new home delivery and setup, and coordinate with residents and management.

Applicants should have a valid Texas driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in home refurbishment and HVAC/electrical/plumbing or pool operations considered a plus. OSHA training is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience a plus.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance and work orders.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and resolve issues within the community.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Aid in new home delivery and set-up and report warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and PPE as required by State law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain all company vehicles according to safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Ability to work safely around pets, service animals, and wildlife.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
