Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across our GA-Martinez communities. You will handle home/building repairs, grounds upkeep, and maintain utility systems while delivering excellent service to current and prospective residents.

The role requires physical work outdoors, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid driver's license. On-site duties include landscaping, basic plumbing/electrical tasks, and collaboration with contractors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in general maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power equipment and basic machinery.

Responsibilities

• Ensures trash/debris is picked up daily from common areas and streets.
• Completes minor repairs to rental homes and facilities as needed.
• Inspects irrigation system regularly and makes repairs.
• Maintains vacant sites including removal of trash and debris.
• Removes snow from community streets, parking lots and entrances where applicable.
• Maintains lawns and performs basic landscaping tasks.
• Reports maintenance issues to the manager.
• Cleans building facilities such as clubhouse and maintenance garage.
• Assists with supervision of service contractors.
