Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain plant equipment and ensure readiness across North America. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance and report conditions that could impact production.

Two years in heavy industry plus welding skills and comfort with confined spaces are preferred; Amrize offers competitive benefits and opportunities to contribute on diverse infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in mechanical repair, installation, and heavy industry.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding experience.
• Experience working in confined spaces.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant and mobile equipment and perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Complete work orders; install, repair and fabricate metal components; ensure availability and safety.
• Prepare and weld steel and aluminum structures and equipment.
• Report repairs and findings to Area Manager.
• Respond to emergencies to resolve safety concerns.
• Maintain shop, tools, and vehicles for availability and safety.
