Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deploy across multiple project footprints in the United States, performing mechanical repairs, electrical diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on portable plant structures.

You will report to the regional Maintenance Manager and work with the Batch Plant Superintendent, ensuring safety protocols and environmental policies are followed while keeping equipment in top condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers’ program.
• 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant environment.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Support high regional mobility across active plant deployments.
• Maintain and repair machinery components on central wet drums and dry transit setups.
• Perform field maintenance with strict safety adherence.
• Follow LOTO protocols and use PPE effectively.
• Ensure plant gates and conveyor paths operate correctly to prevent contamination and drift.
• Extend asset lifecycles through preventive maintenance and timely part replacements.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and document inspections and work orders.
• Report to regional Maintenance Manager and collaborate with Batch Plant Superintendent.
