Responsibilities include routine inspections, responding to breakdowns, and collaborating with production to optimize equipment. The role requires reading manuals and schematics, LOTO compliance, and flexibility for varied shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or confectionery industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Must have basic understanding of English verbal and written comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of production machinery and equipment to identify issues and perform repairs or adjustments.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules to prevent failure and downtime.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions to restore function.
• Collaborate with production to identify process improvements and equipment optimization.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and parts used.
