Job summary

Chelten House Products seeks a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment. You will work closely with a team to keep machinery running safely and efficiently, using CM work orders and predictive maintenance tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Industrial technology courses preferred.
• 4+ years in food manufacturing with electrical/mechanical repairs.
• Strong team player with good communication and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
• Utilize computer systems for work orders.
• Use mechanical test equipment such as calipers.
• Understand or use predictive maintenance technology.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting.
• Repair, rebuild, and install equipment.
• Conduct root cause analyses to prevent failures.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Establish and maintain equipment under CI processes; communicate with the team.
