Job summary

International is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the First Shift at our San Antonio, TX plant. This role contributes to safe, reliable production of Class 6–8 trucks and EVs by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.

You will follow 5S and safety standards, document activities in CMMS, and support continuous improvement with engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with maintenance experience preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in maintenance, mechanical, or electrical field is an asset.
• Must meet basic safety and PPE requirements.
• Strong ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment including mechanical and electrical components.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE; report hazards or incidents.
• Document work performed in the CMMS and update procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering for new solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
