Job summary

International Motors, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the first shift at our San Antonio area plant. You will perform general and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical production equipment to keep trucks and EVs running smoothly.

The role emphasizes safety, 5S, and teamwork, with responsibilities from reading instructions to collaborating with engineering on improvements, while adhering to EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of maintenance related experience.
• An Associate degree in maintenance, mechanical or electrical related field is also acceptable.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs general and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical components of production equipment.
• Maintains safe work practices and uses required PPE; reports hazards.
• Collaborates with engineering on improvements and new product introductions.
• Executes standard work and uses Andon/escalation to address issues.
• Keeps documentation in CMMS and communicates status to leads and supervisors.
