Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Tech for the 1st shift in Sherman, TX. The role performs preventive maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshoots issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, PLCs, and welding. Some overtime and safe operation of equipment are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery; follow up on corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety requirements.
• Read blueprints and schematics; interpret parts breakdowns.
• Operate lifts and work at various heights as needed.
