Job summary

International in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Associate Paint Technician / Paint Technician I on first shift to contribute to the painting of Class 6–8 trucks. Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while following P&L Way procedures and safety guidelines.

The role supports production with 5S discipline, standard work, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• No minimum required (Associate Paint Technician)
• At least 1 year of manufacturing / production experience
• At least 1 year of materials, warehouse or inventory control experience
• OSHA safety requirements including respirator use and PPE compliance

Responsibilities

• Read and follow verbal and written work instructions, position standards, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform surface preparation, cleaning and repairs for paint application; ensure surfaces are ready for painting.
• Maintain safety practices, use PPE, and follow 5S and environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure output meets product specifications; escalate issues as needed.
