Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in San Antonio, TX. You will perform skilled maintenance and repair on complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and facility systems, troubleshoot equipment, and manage spare parts inventory.

You will guide less experienced technicians, support efficiency improvements, and plan preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime. Requirements include 5-10+ years in industrial maintenance and strong PLC/electrical skills.

Qualifications

5 - 10+ years of industrial or facility maintenance experience.
Experience with PLCs and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with motors, electrical controls, water systems, large washers, and high-volume operations.
Background in welding, piping, boiler/heating systems.
Experience with general facility maintenance (doors, forklifts, office infrastructure).

Responsibilities

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical or electrical safety issues.
Evaluate equipment and facility needs, implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Maintain purchasing and inventory controls for spare parts, tools, and supplies.
Support installations, equipment startups, and ongoing facility projects.
Assist with daily and weekly operational support for assets and equipment.
Participate in training for warehouse and operations personnel as needed.
Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Plan and carry out corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities.
