Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Westbury, NY. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, complete service requests promptly, and keep apartments ready for occupancy.

The role includes preventative maintenance, painting assistance, and a strong safety culture in daily operations. You should have 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on an on-call schedule.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members and follow policies.
• Knowledge of SDS, cleaning supplies, PPE, and general safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Complete service requests and repairs per company standards and timelines.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner and perform turnkey work.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance on apartments.
• Assist in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety policies, including PPE usage.
