Vivmark Residential in Melville, NY is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general systems across our apartment communities. You will ensure safety, timely response, and high-quality service for residents.

We value 2–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation. Expect collaborative teamwork and a commitment to maintaining premium living environments.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance work.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Strong communication with team and residents to provide quality service.
• Ability to read policies including Key Control, Turnover, and Maintenance Emergency procedures.
• Identify cleaning chemicals, read SDS, and follow PPE requirements.
• Knowledge of PPE usage and safe handling.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and shutoffs.
• Knowledge of paint types and tools.

Responsabilités

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, safety systems and related areas.
• Complete service requests promptly while maintaining standards.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine upkeep.
• Assist in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Uphold safety culture and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform hot works such as brazing, soldering and welding per policies.
