Job summary

Vivmark Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Melville, NY. This full-time role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance systems to keep apartment homes in top condition and enhance resident living experiences.

You will work 40 hours per week with on-call rotation. The position offers a base pay range of $54,500 to $77,500 annually, plus benefits such as medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to participate in monthly on-call rotation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Read and understand maintenance policies and SDS.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety practices.
• Basic knowledge of emergency systems and paint tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready.
• Perform turnkey work as required.
• Conduct preventative maintenance.
• Assist in interior and exterior painting.
• Maintain safety and report hazards.
