Smithfield Foods in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our plant running smoothly. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a fast‑paced food processing environment, bringing expertise in electrical controls, fluid power, welding and fabrication to solve complex issues and keep production on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related industrial maintenance experience.
• Technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
• Ability to function in a team and follow safety procedures.
• Experience with SAP work orders is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review work orders and use SAP to create work orders.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls with the right tools and equipment.
• Monitor machinery in operation and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Disassemble and repair mechanical equipment; replace faulty parts and test.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and GMP safety protocols across the plant.
