Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair building systems, perform repairs, and keep apartment homes rent-ready in a timely manner.

The role requires basic math, a valid driver's license, and experience in property maintenance. The position involves on-site work with potential supervision of contractors and a focus on safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic skills for estimating, averages and percentages.
• Able to operate general office equipment as needed.
• Able to frequently use general maintenance tools and equipment.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and drive as required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and other systems.
• Complete service requests and repairs in a safe, timely manner.
• Make units rent-ready through turn-key work when needed.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests.
• Promote safe work practices and comply with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and building codes.
• May supervise other associates and contractors.
