Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities in Austin, TX is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across the community, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include completing checklists, coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor, and performing repairs to facilities, utilities, and grounds while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance.
• Able to operate hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery.
• Ability to provide legible written reports and work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to work on-call and be available for afterhours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical integrity of the community and ensure a clean, safe living environment.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and posting notices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and complete minor repairs to utilities and streets.
• Inspect, clean and repair facilities and amenities including clubhouse, courts, pools and maintenance garage.
• Complete daily and weekly checklists and prepare quarterly reports on maintenance work.
