Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Texas community grounds safe, organized, and well-stocked. You will interact with residents and ensure timely completion of service requests and inspections, while upholding safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

The role supports upkeep of community assets, coordinating with management and vendors, and participating in safety meetings. Prior refurbishment experience and licensing are valued as part of a multi-skilled maintenance

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbs.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris and trash.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Operate and maintain all company vehicles according to compliance and safety standards.
