Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Austin-area community to perform corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision. The role includes assist with make-ready and upkeep of common areas, units, and pools, and to respond promptly to resident requests.

This full-time position requires a High School Diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills are required for on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community and unit areas with routine, preventive, and cosmetic tasks.
• Respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with make-ready, turnover, and daily upkeep of common areas and grounds.
• Maintain pool cleanliness and chemical logs.
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and adhere to safety/OSHA guidelines.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager with inventory and documentation.
• Participate in on-call emergency coverage.
