Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep including landscaping, carpentry, painting, and basic repairs. You will report to the Facilities Supervisor and help ensure facilities are well-maintained for guest experiences and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable execution of maintenance tasks to support a high-quality resort environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in facility maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and OSHA standards preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure upkeep of grounds and facilities per policies.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep resort functional and appealing.
• Carry out minor electrical tasks following safety standards.
• Close work orders promptly to keep resort ready for guests.
• Address plumbing issues and leaks to maintain facilities.
• Engage in landscaping: mowing, weed removal, brush clearing.
• Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in good condition.
• Work independently on assigned tasks with efficiency.
• Comply with health, safety and OSHA standards.
• Fulfill other related duties to support maintenance needs.
