Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role includes performing maintenance, making-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities cover documenting work orders, assisting with grounds upkeep, and adhering to OSHA and property safety guidelines. The position offers full-time hours with on-site duties and a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification is required.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects or problems and perform repairs according to policies and safety standards.
• Execute the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory and ensure materials are returned to the proper location; communicate re-order needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Complete service requests documentation promptly for accurate tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities by cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Promote cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
