Job summary

Republic Services in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulics, brakes, and HVAC systems. You will work under supervision and support drivers across our fleet with on-site and field service, contributing to reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
• 3–5 years of experience in a technician role with knowledge of gasoline and diesel equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License is required; CDL is a plus, ASE certs are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of vehicle components and performs preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Repairs chassis components, refuse bodies, braking, suspension, drive train, and HVAC systems.
• Performs light welding, on-road service, and uses electronic diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions.
• Completes training programs and performs other duties as assigned.
