Job summary
Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B in Minnesota to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, control systems, and braking systems. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide on-road service when required.
The role requires 3–5 years of experience in a technician position, with ASE certifications (T1–T8) a plus, and a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
- Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
- Graduating from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis, bodies, braking, HVAC, and drive systems.
- Perform line maintenance welding and fabrication; provide on-site and on-road road service when needed.
- Identify malfunctions using electronic tools; complete required training; adhere to company policies.
