Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building systems meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, repair to policy, and complete preventative maintenance on properties.

Responsibilities include making-ready vacant units, tracking inventory, documenting work orders, and assisting with grounds maintenance. The role requires OSHA familiarity, EPA refrigerant certs, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for evenings,

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and local jurisdictions certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems and complete work orders per procedures.
• Complete make-ready processes for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors.
• Access materials, track inventory and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by proper use of parts and tools.
