Job summary

5812 Investment Group is seeking Experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our maintenance team in the Columbus Metro Area. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and renovations to prepare move-in ready apartments while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, maintenance experience or trade school education, HVAC certification or willingness to obtain, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance experience or trade school education preferred.
• HVAC certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with basic computer apps and software.
• Strong communication and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across units and common areas.
• Create excellent customer service through ticket resolution.
• Handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs as needed.
• Prepare move-in ready apartments through renovations and repairs.
• Maintain grounds cleanliness and assist in snow removal when required.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Create excellence in customer service through ticket resolution.
• Execute duties in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Produce move-in ready apartments through renovations and repairs.
• General upkeep and cleanliness of the grounds.
• Assist in snow removal as necessary.
• Work on a rotating on call schedule.
• Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Maintenance Experience or trade school education
• HVAC certification or the willingness to obtain one
• Driver's License and valid car insurance
• Personal, reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Basic computer skills; comfortable with apps and software
• Possess basic hand tools or can acquire them
• Service mentality and a thirst for learning
