Job summary

5812 Investment Group is seeking Experienced Maintenance Technicians to join the 5812 Maintenance Team in the Columbus metro area. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and delivering move-in ready apartments while maintaining grounds and on-call duties.

• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Personal, reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Create excellence in customer service through ticket resolution.
• Execute duties in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Produce move-in ready apartments through renovations and repairs.
• General upkeep and cleanliness of the grounds.
• Assist in snow removal as necessary.
• Work on a rotating on call schedule.
• Perform other duties as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Maintenance Experience or trade school education
• HVAC certification or the willingness to obtain one
• Driver's License and valid car insurance
• Personal, reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Basic computer skills; comfortable with apps and software
• Possess basic hand tools or can acquire them
• Service mentality and a thirst for learning
