Job summary

5812 Investment Group in Columbus, Ohio is seeking Experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our 5812 Maintenance Team. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, while delivering excellent customer service.

This on-site role includes a rotating on-call schedule and aims to produce move-in ready apartments. This position requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, HVAC certification or willingness to obtain one, a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required or to be obtained.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
• Experience in maintenance or trade school is expected.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with apps/software are needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Create excellence in customer service through ticket resolution.
• Execute duties in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Produce move-in ready apartments through renovations and repairs.
• General upkeep and cleanliness of the grounds.
• Assist in snow removal as necessary.
• Work on a rotating on call schedule.
• Perform other duties as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Maintenance Experience or trade school education
• HVAC certification or the willingness to obtain one
• Driver's License and valid car insurance
• Personal, reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Basic computer skills; comfortable with apps and software
• Possess basic hand tools or can acquire them
• Service mentality and a thirst for learning
