We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Food Manufacturing Industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is skilled in mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting, repairing, and has a solid understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures. The ideal candidate will be adept at complex problem-solving and have a knack for maintaining and improving the efficiency and functionality of our manufacturing equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be tasked with

• Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks to avert production downtime and maintain optimal performance of machinery.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborating with the production team to understand and rectify manufacturing issues.
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
• Following all safety protocols and workplace policies.
• Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair work conducted.
• Staying updated with the latest manufacturing technologies and procedures to enhance performance and safety.
  
  

Qualifications

To qualify for this exciting role, you will need

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and experience in complex problem-solving.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report to management.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift heavy machinery parts.
