Job summary

Atrium Hospitality's Richardson property in Richardson, TX is seeking a maintenance technician to join our hotel’s engineering team. You will perform preventative maintenance, document work orders, and assist with repairs to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to keep guest areas safe and comfortable.

Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience is required; hotel maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
