Job summary

Atrium Hospitality's Norfolk Sheraton location is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support guest room and property systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, document work orders, repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues, and assist with pool and groundskeeping tasks.

Prior maintenance experience in hotels is preferred, with ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
