Job summary

Monterey Embassy Suites - Atrium Hospitality in Seaside, CA is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance, guest room care, and equipment repairs to ensure top guest experiences.

You will complete and document work orders, troubleshoot minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues, and support pool systems and landscaping as needed. Minimum 6 months general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.

What You Will Do:

  What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
  • HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
