Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, IN. The on-site role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and addressing resident requests.

You’ll help with turnovers and be part of an after-hours on-call rotation as needed, ensuring safety and high-quality service. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), and HVAC/EPA certifications are a plus.

As a Maintenance Technician at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills, tackle a variety of tasks, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.**What You'll Do:*** Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.* Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.* Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.* Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.* Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.* Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.* Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.* Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.* Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.* Perform snow and ice removal.* Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
