Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties in Cameron Creek, Galloway, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on our community's systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

You will respond to resident requests, participate in an on-call rotation, and assist with turnovers, with weekend work as needed. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus, with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills, tackle a variety of tasks, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.What You'll Do:Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.Perform snow and ice removal.Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
