Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team at our property. You’ll ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality service for residents.

You’ll manage preventive maintenance, coordinate with the Property Manager, supervise vendors, train staff, and respond to emergencies. The role requires HVAC/EPA certification and 3+ years in maintenance, with weekend on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification required; 3+ years in maintenance operations, preferably multifamily.
• Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Familiarity with maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the property's maintenance team to ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Oversee maintenance operations: preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections.
• Ensure HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Property Manager to address requests and projects.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment; manage vendor relationships.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and participate in on-call rotation; weekend work as needed.
• Train and develop the maintenance team.
• Prepare apartments for new residents; snow/ice removal.

Weekend work is required as needed.Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.What Makes You a Great Fit:You’re certified in HVAC/EPA and other relevant fields.You have 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
