Job summary

Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on-site at our Columbus, OH property. You will lead the maintenance team, oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep apartments safe, efficient, and inviting.

You have HVAC/EPA certification, 3+ years in maintenance operations (preferably in multifamily housing), and proven leadership. You’ll train staff, manage vendors, and respond to after-hours emergencies to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification required.
• 3+ years of maintenance operations experience, preferably in multifamily housing.
• Supervisory or leadership experience highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the property’s maintenance team to ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections of all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Coordinate with the Property Manager to prioritize requests and projects; manage vendor relationships.
• Keep inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; ensure safety compliance.
• Respond to emergencies after hours; participate in on-call rotations; weekend work as needed.

Weekend work is required as needed.Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.What Makes You a Great Fit:You’re certified in HVAC/EPA and other relevant fields.You have 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
