Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in California to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on production equipment and facilities. You will collaborate with Production Leads to ensure reliability and safety across machinery and processes.

The role emphasizes quality workmanship, accountability, safety, and teamwork while supporting cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates degree and/or technical certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repairing equipment such as metal shears, punches, presses (CNC and conventional).
• 3+ years of fabrication experience including metal fitting, cutting, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic electrical knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and control equipment.
• Diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot cause of electrical or electronic malfunction or failure and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and locate the cause of a breakdown using electrical test equipment and hand tools.
• Inspect mechanical/electrical systems for hazards and safety compliance.
• Install and maintain CNC machine tools and related equipment.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Perform general building and facility electrical maintenance.
• Meet fast-paced production deadlines.
