Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree and/or technical certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair of equipment such as metal shears, punches, presses, both conventional and CNC machines.
• 3+ years of experience in fabrication including metal fitting, cutting, and welding.

Aufgaben

• Apply basic electrical knowledge of AC/DC and related fields to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry in industrial or commercial plants.
• Diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot causes of electrical or electronic malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Use electrical test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Leverage production breaks to conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance with safety codes.
