Job summary

HW Staffing co is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role emphasizes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and proactive maintenance for CNC machines and automated lines.

Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read schematics and drawings; familiarity with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron PLCs is a plus. On-site work with physical upkeep included.

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with CNC and automated manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
PLC experience, including Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron, preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience using multimeters, calipers, and hand/power tools.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform physical maintenance work.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment.
Maintain CNC machines, conveyors, presses, pumps, and automated equipment.
Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters, schematics, and testing equipment.
Troubleshoot motors, relays, breakers, and PLCs.
Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Identify and order replacement parts as needed.
Work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Follow all safety and environmental procedures.
