Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to ensure optimal operation of all equipment. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, install new equipment and verify functionality, and troubleshoot breakdowns under supervision.

The role requires reading mechanical/electrical schematics, performing preventative maintenance, wiring, PLC basics, and operating metalworking tools.

Qualifications

• Two to four year technical certificate or equivalent experience in an industrial setting.
• 2–5 years of preventative or corrective maintenance in manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical/hydraulic schematics and documents.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, ratios and geometry.
• Ability to interpret multiple instruction formats and safety rules.
• Ability to use a respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machinery and components including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Locate malfunctions using instrumentation and machine knowledge; perform corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on defined schedules; document interventions.
• Install, program or repair automated equipment and robots; work with PLCs.
• Set up tooling and operate metalworking machines for part fabrication and repair.
• Inspect parts for wear and misalignment; ensure quality during maintenance.
