Job summary

Abode Property Management seeks a Maintenance Technician II to join a newly constructed community. You will organize, coordinate, and oversee the maintenance program, including turnover of units, safety procedures, and inventory control.

Knowledge of Yardi and MS Office is required. This role requires 3 years of relevant experience, a California driver’s license, and the ability to be on-call 24 hours or in rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• 3 years’ experience in Unit Turnover, Hotel or Residential Maintenance.
• Valid California Driver's License and auto insurance with clean DMV record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; strong organizational skills.
• Experience and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry; sheetrock repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely, professional manner to housing quality standards.
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily and follow up for satisfaction.
• Coordinate with property manager on needed services or repairs.
• Inspect property exteriors and ensure daily upkeep of common areas.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment; support safety and code compliance.
• Report daily repair progress using property management software.
