Abode Services in Hayward, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to manage the maintenance program for a newly constructed community. You will diagnose and repair major and minor issues, coordinate with the property manager, and ensure timely work orders and make-ready of units.

The role requires experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and knowledge of Yardi; on-call 24 hours and occasional hybrid/remote work may be available, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in Unit Turnover, Hotel or Residential Maintenance.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean DMV record and current insurance.
• Excellent English communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Experience with sheetrock, door frames and cabinetry.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and perform major, minor, and routine maintenance per housing quality standards.
• Complete daily service requests and follow-up for satisfaction.
• Coordinate with property manager on needed repairs.
• Inspect vacant units and oversee make-ready duties.
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts and ensure safety standards.
