Job summary

SoCal Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform general maintenance, manage vacant unit turns, and support the leasing staff in delivering a quality living experience for residents. You will collaborate with the Maintenance and Community Managers to address work orders, safety, and compliance while maintaining property grounds and supplies.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, ability to work on a schedule including weekends, and familiarity with Yardi for turnover

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year experience performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license with clean driving record.
• HVAC and CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general repairs.
• Coordinate move-in schedule with Maintenance/Community Managers; track unit turns in Yardi.
• Manage open service requests in Yardi; complete work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; ensure safety and compliance policies are followed.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool systems; carpentry and drywall tasks.
